Welcome to Food with Varinder! I cook for you the way I cook for friends and family when they visit my home. The menu is varied, indulgent, comforting and surprising. I also never give my guests a choice in what I make. I decide everything and make sure the taste, flavour and texture combinations work together. However, if you have any food intolerances or follow particular diets, please let me know when you reserve your table – by filling in the comments box. I will always do my best to make sure everyone enjoys everything!

The food was excellent and surprising. A true explosion of tastes. Free extras are served when requested. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was quiet. As one minor negative detail, the mocktail we ordered was too sweet for us. We ordered it as we did not have a good overview of the selection of drinks available. It may help customers to have an overview of the drink selection so that they can decide based on the selections available.

Perfect lunch. This is good which makes me happy. It is in a beautiful historic house in Leuven. Very friendely and welcoming. It feels like eating at a friend’s house. Absolute value for money!

I absolutely love the concept of this restaurant! It feels a bit like stepping into someone’s home for an intimate dinner party. There’s no menu—you simply enjoy what the kitchen prepares for you, with any allergies or dietary restrictions thoughtfully taken into account. I personally love this approach; it takes away the pressure of choosing and lets you fully enjoy the experience. And the best part? The food is absolutely delicious! Every dish brought to the table was a delightful surprise, and the flavors were spot-on. If you’re looking for a unique dining experience with incredible food, this is definitely the place to try!

Very nice restaurant! Food is delicious and divers. You don’t need to choose, there is only one menu. The service is great and the decors is very cosy. One of my favorites in Leuven!

Lekker gegeten, vriendelijke bediening. Geen drankkaart/prijzen gezien. Spijtig van de veel te krappe plaatsen; niet aangenaam voor klant noch personeel, waardoor het een minder fijne ervaring was.

I loved everything about this place. The kitchen prepares a set menu for the day for all the guests, so the meal is a surprise. When all the dishes were placed on the table, the host took time to explain each dish. This was the best meal I had in Leuven! Everything was so tasty and the host was so kind to offer me more of whatever I liked. If you are looking for a vegetarian restaurant with excellent food, ambience, friendly hosts, this is the place to visit!

Food with Varinder is a unique experience that is created by a combination of special factors: - The Menu: you get what Varinder has cooked and it's vegetarian - The ongoing interaction either with Varinder or her husband: especially the food explanations - The decor, which creates a sense of genuinely being entertained in someone's home We've become Flexitarians (occasional meat eaters) these past few years. So, we're not strict vegetarians. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, flexitarian or a full-blown carnivore treat yourself to some wonderful flavours at Food with Varinder!
