Forage is a farm to table neighborhood bistro in Cambridge right off of Harvard Square. Through partnerships with local organic farmers, fishermen, and foragers, ​we offer a local, seasonal menu served in a casual setting.

The bar program at Forage ​delivers classically crafted cocktails that have a focus on seasonal and locally produced ingredients. ​Forage also boasts a carefully curated and approachable collection of organic/biodynamic wines, and a selection of beer from independent and innovative breweries.

    Please do not park anywhere in the Craigie Circle lot -- you will be towed. Other Options: Parker street-off Buckingham- park there after 4pm. Or in front of the Armenian Church at intersection of Craigie and Brattle. Brattle St has free parking after 6pm

    Take the Red Line to Harvard Square and exit via Church Street. Take a right and proceed up Garden St toward the Sheraton Commander Hotel. Continue on Garden St toward the lights after the hotel. Bear left at the lights and continue on to Concord Ave. Take a left at the next set of lights on Craigie St; we are on the right side of the street.

    Join us Tuesday January, 28th for a special dinner created by chefs Eric Cooper & Alycia Palame, showcasing a bounty of New England's cheese. Special thanks to rockstar cheesemonger Marc Hernandez, of Formaggio Kitchen, whose expertise helped build this 4 course menu. There are both omnivore & vegetarian iterations of the menu. Vegan options not available for this one, sorry! Wine pairings & non alcoholic cocktail parings will also be offered. The cost is $75 for the food and does not include Taxes or Gratuity.

The cost is $85 per person for food and does not include taxes and gratuity.

    We had two different tasting menus: carnivore and vegetarian. Both were terrific. Service was impeccable and when we didn't like a course, they replaced it without needing to ask. Wine was very well paired. Excellent experience overall.

    This was our first visit to Forage and it was remarkable. Quiet but friendly ad passionate people working there who were happy to take many questions about the food, never rushing but also bringing out each course in just the right time. Two of our party are vegan and the server marked up our menu showing which dishes could be made vegan, which was so helpful. And the food was AMAZING. Just unbelievably good. 10 our of 10!!

    The quiet, friendly, intimate ambience of Forage makes it a lovely evening. It is one of my go-to neighborhood restaurants in Cambridge. One can be sure of getting a unique and refreshing menu, friendly, intelligent waitstaff and a relaxed time. There are a lot of restaurants in Cambridge, and this is one of the quiet gems.

    Cocktails were terrific. The menu looked great but the food was pretty mid. It’s disappointing to spend a lot for a meal like this. I won’t be back.

    The menu is very appealing and the service was excellent. The nonalcoholic drinks were scrumptious and complimented the meal. The cheesecake was unique and delicious. It was my first time visiting this restaurant and I’ll definitely go back.

    Food and wine was pretty average for the price. Oxtail was mostly fat and gristle. Dessert was dry and only a few wines were truly good. Staff was hit or miss. Some were very attentive, others gave you barely any attention. Felt I was rushed out of restaurant at the end. It’s a shame because I’ve been to Forage and thought it was fantastic. It might have just been their “Burgundy Night Dinner” that was the dud, but at $200/person for dinner I expect better quality and most of the dinner was lacking that.

    Been wanting to go here for months and it didn’t disappoint at all. The food was well thought out, wine list well curated, and service amazing. I am excited to go back soon.

    We absolutely loved the food, the service and the ambience. It was our anniversary and they sure made it special. The food is very tasty and well worth the money. The only minor complaint I have is that the cheese in the cheese plate was too little :)
