You won't find a neighborhood restaurant anywhere close to Greenville doing what chef Shawn Kelly set out to do: provide both neighbors and visitors alike the Upstate's freshest and most plentiful meats, produce, and products, both as a dine-in and carryout option.

This concept supports the idea that farmers and chefs can make a living supplying a community with its daily necessities, while also encouraging enjoyment of a simple meal of a sandwich or steak, chop, or bake.

Just imagine: Wednesdays become your favorite lunch day of fresh and locally-sourced soups and salads with a friend. Then you get a favorite bottle of wine to bring home, coupled with carefully chosen side dishes and the best burgers and fresh Carolina seafood in Greenville to throw on the grill.     Terrific food. The environment isn't fine dining but more like a high-end diner, maybe. All kinds of diners, good service. Did I mention the food is excellent!

    The food is always wonderful and last night didn't disappoint! The highlight for me was the clam chowder. The only drag on the night was the hostess who had to ask me 3x what my name was after seating people who arrived after us with a similar party size (4 people). There appeared to be no rhyme or reason for seating with numerous open tables including a 4 top that staying open the entire time we were there. The food and our server saved the night. Thanks, Fork & Plough!

    Everything was wonderful except we were seated in the area by the front door and there were cold winds everytime the door was open. We just ordered small bites. The clam chowder, Brussels sprouts, fried oysters and deserts were perfect. I also ordered the Corned Beef Ruben Croquettes and found them to be bland for my taste buds Service was great

    The food is outstanding. Honestly, the best food I had during my 4 days in Greenville. Fresh ingredients, creative blending of flavors, and excellent portions for the price. I couldn’t stop raving about the perogies and winter salad. The cherry cobbler was a wonderful added delight. I must go to in Greenville.

    The food was very good, but we were a little disappointed with that night's selection compared to other menus we had seen posted online. Our steaks were cooked perfectly but both of our twice baked potatoes were stone cold. The service was a little slow and no one there was overly friendly.

    Went for Sunday brunch. Limited menu. Food was just ok. Service was poor. Would try again..maybe it was just an off day.
