You won't find a neighborhood restaurant anywhere close to Greenville doing what chef Shawn Kelly set out to do: provide both neighbors and visitors alike the Upstate's freshest and most plentiful meats, produce, and products, both as a dine-in and carryout option.

This concept supports the idea that farmers and chefs can make a living supplying a community with its daily necessities, while also encouraging enjoyment of a simple meal of a sandwich or steak, chop, or bake.

Just imagine: Wednesdays become your favorite lunch day of fresh and locally-sourced soups and salads with a friend. Then you get a favorite bottle of wine to bring home, coupled with carefully chosen side dishes and the best burgers and fresh Carolina seafood in Greenville to throw on the grill. Or maybe you even have a long-standing Sunday brunch date!

Fork and Plough was a great, open, fresh place to dine. Atmosphere was happy and staff was energetic. Adam who was our server was amazing and made our evening a great evening amongst friends.

Fork and Plough is definitely one of our favorite Greenville restaurants. We make a point to visit every time we are here in town. The food is always fresh, flavorful, inventive and delish! The service never disappoints either. Last night every table was full, people were even eating at the bar, and yet our server, Jay, was attentive and made sure we never lacked for anything. Highly recommend this lovely little gem.

We had the Brussels sprouts appetizer and it was fabulous. Bread service was a sweet bread and we loved it. We had the shiitake burger and salmon salad. Both were just ok. Salad was dry, no dressing and ingredients were buried under the lettuce. Salmon was excellent—good portion and cooked perfectly. Service was incredibly slow.

Everything from food to service to atmosphere was great. 3 kids even ate everything and enjoyed it a lot. Vegetable plate was the highlight.

We came to celebrate my husbands birthday. Everything was great from the drinks, appetizers and entree. Our table of six had four different entrees and each were excellent and good portions. We are taking some home! My husband got a free dessert for his birthday. Our server Sydney was friendly and so helpful and provided wonderful service. Everyone who works here that we interacted with were very nice and friendly. We had a great experience and will he back.

Fork&Plough is our favorite restaurant in Greenville. It is laid back and the staff is always funny, helpful, professional, and have an excellent attention to detail/sense of urgency. The food is excellent and creative with the ever-changing menu offering a variety of options. Seafood, meats, and vegan options are all available with a potential twist in preparation. It’s not the most intimate ambience, but the food and staff more than overcome that limitation. We’ve never had a bad experience!
