Located conveniently on Metro’s Silver Line, Founding Farmers Reston Station is a great gathering place for locals, nearby businesses, and commuters. Open 365 days a year, our culinary crew crafts dishes and drinks from scratch with simple, high-quality ingredients from farmers and suppliers we know and trust.

Join us for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekday happy hour; enjoy our decadent weekend Farmers Market Buffet Brunch; or simply grab a cup of our house-roasted coffee and a scratch-made treat from our First Bake Cafe.

Majority owned by American family farmers, including the more than 50,000 farmers of the North Dakota Farmers Union, our restaurant is guided by a very simple principal: we see and share everything Through The Eyes Of The Farmer.™ We actively care about our guests, our communities, the planet, and the next generation. This all comes together in our everyday neighborhood restaurant.

We offer parking validation for up to three hours of parking in the Park X Retail parking garage. Any time beyond three hours is $4.75. Follow signs for Founding Farmers Reston once you are in the garage. There is paid valet parking available through Reston Metro Plaza Street. Cost is $10 per vehicle.

We were very pleased with the overall flavor and preparation of each plate we ordered. We tried the crab and artichoke appetizer, stake frites, sweet potato, and Farmers Sampler (I think that’s what it’s called, it was the combination of chicken, ribs, and brisket). For dessert we had an Affogato! It was pretty quiet for a Sunday evening and food came out pretty quickly!

On the weekend only brunch is served. There is an al a carte menu but many of the items are on the brunch menu (which is all you can eat- drink not included). There is NO OPTION to order anything from a regular menu. It is brunch only and it costs about $35. That was annoying to my friend but we were already seated when we found out, so we had brunch. I had one plate(was full after that) and yes, I paid &35.

My first time there was really enjoyable and I’d definitely go back. It’s wild to me when menus don’t include allergen details - it was hard to know what to eat or if things could be modified. Thankfully I had a kind and thorough server who looked out for me. It’d be nice if they offered GF breads or pastas, etc. but I was able to find many delicious options. I settled on the Peruvian chicken and it was incredible. Restaurant was kind of loud even though everyone was spaced out - maybe cleaning noises? Really pretty restaurant.

Alyssa our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The food was good for the most part a bit pricey $120 for 2 adults 1 kids considering kids don't eat hardly anything. I'd recommend trying at least once.

Buffet was pricey. You need to go very hungry to make it worth it. All the food there was good to exceptional , especially the roast beef. Service was good as well.

Normally, I enjoy the atmosphere, but it was too crowded. Too many kids running around. Too many people in the way at the buffet. My server (never got to know her name, and wasn't the person I requested, again) was not available upon my seating but was professional. The atmosphere just seemed cold, so I ate my food, which was great, and left. I don't think I stayed 30 minutes.

Cocktails were good, service was great and food was excellent. The scallop dinner was perfect and the night special fish was excellent.
