Arrived on time for our reservation. Made to wait 15 minutes (told to go for a walk) looking at a half full room. After which, we were told we waited inside for another ten, then told we could only be seated outside. Asked about empty tables inside. One excuse after another. Reminded the hostess that we made reservations. Sorry, it’s outside or nothing. Cold, noisy as hell with three people at a table for two. Ten minutes later, water. Another 10 we get to order drinks. Another 10, I summon a random waiter and ask if we can order. He’s not our waiter. Food comes. Still cold. Still noisy. Might as well be on the sidewalk. We’ve eaten here many times, dating back to the Fashion Island days. Never again. Horrible service. Reservation meant nothing. Food was beyond salty. Service spotty and intermittent. This restaurant has gone Totally downhill after probably 25 meals there over 15 years. Done with Francoli. There are too many other good restaurants which understand “reservation” and have attentive service.

Truly enjoyed our night with the family celebrating our sons 23rd birthday!! The wine and food were delicious and the service was great! We usually come to Francoli for date night and love sitting /dining at the bar! Tonight's table near the wine wall was nice yet secluded.

I am from San Francisco and was in the area for business. I asked a local friend about a good Italian restaurant and she suggested Francoli. I had a reservation. When I arrived the restaurant was busy and the hosted sat me at the bar. I was a bit disappointed. However, the bartender was kind and attentive. A couple sat next to me and we hit it off and had a wonderful conversation. The food was good along with the service. When in the area I will go back.

Bucatini Matriciana was so-so. Sauce was sweet. Must have added sugar. Waiter was great, staff attentive. Burrata plate with prosciutto was fresh and good, plentiful. We love this restaurant and do return. I just wasn't thrilled with the matriciana dish.

Whenever we are in the mood to feel like we are dining in a small Italian restaurant, rather than hop on a plane, we head to Francoli's Gourmet. It's the next best thing to being there! Last night was no exception. Authentic Italian entrees, a large selection of Italian (and other) wines and classic Italian drinks and desserts! The service is professional and not rushed. The food is exceptionally good and authentic Italian cuisine. We send all of our friends here!

The vongole was great. I do wish the pasta was more al dente. The pappardelle ossobuco special wasn’t as we expected - the sauce tasted like regular spaghetti ragu sauce. We were expecting something more brown & braised.
