A walk through the doors into the fabulous Frankie Bones Restaurant & Lounge takes you back to the carefree style of the early 1960s and t's restaurants in the big cities across America. Frankie Bones serves coveted American-Italian cuisine seven days a week and is located next to WiseGuys on Main Street on Hilton Head Island and off Buckwalter Parkway in Bluffton. Lunch at Frankie Bones is about signature sandwiches, homemade soups, fresh seafood, crisp flatbreads, entrée salads, and premium pasta dishes. Always fresh and always fabulous! Served from 11 AM until 4 PM, Monday through Saturday, Frankie Bones is the perfect atmosphere for a business or family lunch.

Our waiter was not up to the usual service we have received over the years. The food was not as good as we have had there. I had the prime rib and it was very grizzly and not as tasty as the last time I had. The waiter was bringing things out hap hazarding. someone in our group were always waiting for something. I will chalk this up to exhaustion to the staff after the holiday.

They don’t serve bad meals here. Our group of four enjoyed all of them. We had two plates of pork schnitzel, a spaghetti with clams and a crabcake dinner. No wasted food at all. Service was excellent even considering it was Black Friday and every place was packed. We will definitely be back.

The food was very good and the portion size was more than adequate. I had the best piece of Carrot Cake ever! The temperature in the restaurant was my only concern. It was a bit chilly so just have a light sweater on hand and all is good.

Our service was not very good. Our server was very inefficient, and left us waiting for a long time without even bread or water on the table. We went on Thanksgiving, and I am contributing this to the holiday crowd, and hoping that he isn’t normally like this. The food was good, but not the best. I am also contributing this to the holiday, and the amount of people that were there. Because it was so crowded, it was also very loud. I will go back again one day and try it again when it is not so busy.

Thanksgiving was packed and we waited 45 minutes (with a reservation) for our table for 7 people. Not sure if the kitchen was backed up or folks were hogging their holiday tables. But the excellent food and service made it worth the wait.

Was impressive the way the large crowd of diners were served. Considering this, the kitchen was on top of service.
