Located in East Nashville - It’s New York-style Italian, thanks to Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli, who’ve brought their 20-year-old celebrated Frankies 457 Spuntino south from Brooklyn, complete with the antipasti, cured meats, and housemade pasta that made the original famous. We had our reservation at 3:30 pm and it was really nice and quiet. My girlfriend said that the ambiance was really cozy. The waitress was very nice, and funny. She gave us some good recommendations on the food. Entrees were really nice. The flavors played very well with each other. It was a very nice location to have a peaceful and relaxing dinner.

Perfect place for family and friends. Grabbed a great bottle of wine and had so many excellent dishes. The porchetta was unreal. Can't wait to go back and check out everything we didn't get!

Very good authentic food. delicious cheese plate. Pasta was cooked to perfection. The wine list was adequate. Our server was delightful.

Friendly helpful staff. A little trouble with the wine but was resolved to our satisfaction. Burrata was a bit runny. Doesn’t need olive oil on it. The bread is delicious. Loved our entrees. Had the hot sausage and the lamb ragu dishes. The hot sausage was amazing. Now this was probably our fault, but felt like there was oiive oil on a lot of things, the bread, the olives, the Burrata. The hot sausage dish didn’t need so much butter. Just seemed like a lot. We had a great time, loved the venue and the atmosphere.

Have enjoyed bringing friends to Frankie’s for the third time. Really enjoyed the Caesar salad, meatballs, and sausage cavalletti. The service was nice and staff was friendly. The serving staff are always friendly but get the impression they need more training on basic service as appear to be first time servers. The chef and his team prepare the dishes quickly and are so delicious! The restaurant has a cool vibe but tables can be a bit close to each other in open dining area. Will continue to come back with more friends!

Bread, Burrata, Beat Salad, and all four of our pasta dishes were excellent as was our server John. Additionally had two bottles of red wine that were reasonably priced. I'm local and will definitely be back!

This was the first weekend they had introduced brunch so maybe there will be some experimentation with the entrees? Overall, we had a nice time. Personal opinion, the food left some things to be desired. The Eggs Benedict had an AMAZING Potato Pave, but the protein noted in the dish was lacking and the tomato hollandaise was overpowering. The Pastrami Hash was generous in portioning all around and well balanced with the right amount of everything. The pancake left us wanting a pancake. It's not a traditional pancake in taste or texture and it felt like it would be great as a savory side versus as the sweet pancake you prepare yourself for.
