    First time I was there and we really liked it. Food was delicious, service attentive and helpful. We had the duck wings, yum Both had romaine 1/2 wedge. Good amounts of lardons and blue cheese. Loved it. I had shrimp and grits and it was flavorful and delicious. Husband had tenderloin. We were very happy with the entire experience and we will be back.

    Burgers to Himalaya Rib Eye with chicken and fish. A solid, interesting menu. Service knows the menu and is attentive to your dining. A beautiful room.

    Kinda surprised to find a restaurant this nice attached to a Hilton Garden Inn. Food and service were excellent as was wine selection.

    Excellent steaks, especially the salt block ribeye. Definitely our “go-to” restaurant in Kalispell.

    Lovely room, excellent service, good (if expensive) wine list. Food was very good. Two things that set FreeStone apart from the usual Montana restaurant: we were not rushed. Dinner was nicely paced, just over an hour and a half for the four of us. Also, tables were spaced sufficiently far apart that the room was quiet. One could talk in a normal voice and not join other table’s conversations. Altogether, a very pleasant evening.

    We sat down at our table and there was a lot of people in the restaurant. It took us 25 min to get a waitress to come over and take our drink order. We would've ordered appetizers but it took another 35 minutes for our waitress to come back over to take our order and drop off our drinks. We saw several tables come in and leave with other waiters helping them faster. By the time we got our food it had been 2 hours since we sat down. We had asked for our check 3 times and the waitress kept "forgetting." It was great food and drinks, but the service took so long and it was our one night away from the kids we spent 2.5 hours of it at the restaurant. Probably won't be coming back.

    I knew nothing about Freestone prior to making the reservation for my wife's birthday, but she really likes great fine dining, so I took a chance. Everything was great from service to food... especially food! It was a lovely and memorable dinner in Kalispell which has a dearth of fine dining. Thanks guys!

    Service was very slow. Ordered a specialty drink from the cocktail menu. Took forever. One of the worst bourbon drinks ever. No vanilla to it per the description- just straight up cheap bourbon. Pork buns were very good. Crispy bits of tender pork. Bread service took forever and they do give you complimentary bread- but not slot. Salmon was okay. Too sweet. Husband said the snapper was dry. Will go back just because it was clear the wait staff was having a tough night.
