Inflated pricing for New Years experience. Chaotic experience. Staff were all over the place. Food was presented nicely but kitchen messed up order. Overall disappointing for the money.

Worst experience ever. Food took over an hour and forty five minutes and was tiny portions. We stopped by MxDonalds afterwards.

I have waited several days to wave this review because I was waiting for a response from the Grupo Rosanegra Restaurant General Manager, Mr. Salazar, but never received a response. We went to Funky Geisha on New Year’s Eve and it was very disappointing. 1. We had a party of 10 people. When I made the reservation one month ago for Funky Geisha, they never informed us it would be a limited menu. The menu was not at all what we anticipated and had limited entrees and sushi rolls. We would NOT have booked this restaurant knowing that. 2. The food was poor. Majority of the group ordered the Mongolian Beef and the bowl was primarily vegetables with very few pieces of beef. 3. Service was slow and inattentive. The waiter twice said he would have his manager come talk to us after we complained about the Mongolian beef. They never did. The entire dinner took 2 hours and 15 minutes and we didn’t even do dessert. We went to three other Grupo Rosanegra Hotels while visiting and spent quite a bit of money with them. Their lack of follow up means they don’t care. Buyer beware!

Came here to celebrate our anniversary. Easily had one of the worst experience with the service that we’ve ever had. The servers kept us waiting for 45 minutes after placing the order I did not come back to check. Finally we decided to just leave after waiting for an hour for the food after placing in the order. The restaurant was not too crowded. I would say 75% full.

We booked a large group of 8. Appetizers were excellent and desert was excellent. The main course was good not great. We loved the vibe and service level was great. There has been some excellent places to eat in Cabo and this was good for the price and overall experience.

Service was ridiculously slow. Chairs are very uncomfortable. Food was good and ambience is lovely.

This is the first time back since the hurricane destroyed it. We were VERY disappointed. There were 8 of us (6 adults, 2 children). Service was very disorganized. Cocktails were terrible! My son ordered a double gin & tonic and what arrived tasted like flat tonic. My cadillac marg had no grand marnier although they insisted it did. I had to order and pay for a shot. No chardonnays whatsoever on the menu. 4 people ordered the miso soup; no one could eat it. I ordered the shrimp panang curry; tasty sauce but very little shrimp (they were cut up into pieces). Won't go back

My family and I were looking to enjoy some Asian fusion food and we were deeply disappointed by Funky Geisha. We did enjoy the music and overall ambiance, however the service and food definitely ruined it for us. We waited over an hour for our food, and still left hungry considering the food was sub-par at best. It took over 20 minutes for us to receive our drinks, and even the drinks seemed poorly made. Overall I would NOT suggest this restaurant, it was disappointing, expensive, and felt like a waste of money.
