My reservation was for 8:00pm. We arrived at 7:45pm and the hostess told us to grab a drink at the bar while they set up our table. Walking in, it’s beautiful. Bartender was nice and quick. Great tasting drinks , recommend the Medicine Women!!!!! 8:00pm rolls around , we still aren’t seats. 8:10pm, the hostess grabs us and brings us to our table. Yay? No it gets worse from here. We sit down for our date night and 8:15pm no server checks on us. 8:20pm, still no server. 8:25pm is when the server came to our table. We ordered more drinks, appetizers and our main course. She said she would course it out timingly and we appreciated her for it and that she would bring out bread for us to snack on. Server walks by multiple times, time goes on. We are thirsty , our bottled still water wasn’t brought out to us yet and no bread. 9:00pm….. NINE is when bread came out and our drinks. And from this, I knew it was going to be a long time. For apps we ordered Half dozen chargrilled Rockefeller oysters and French onion soup. 9:30 is when we got our oysters. 1- too much spinach and they weren’t hot. 9:44pm is when we got our French onion soup and when I say this was so so salty. It was so so salty. I took one bite and I was done. Not much longer our steak and sides came out. Two filets (one medium rare & one medium), side of crawfish Mac and cheese, asparagus. Well, one steak was basically rare and mooing still (my “med rare” steak, and my husbands came out rare for his “medium steak”. The crawfish Mac and cheese and the steaks weren’t seasoned enough. Why didn’t we send the food back? Our waitress barely came to our table. Even the table next to us had to ask the food runner where their server was and where their food was because it had been awhile. The lady in the white coat that took care of us at the end was attentive. We got our boxes and check from her. Didn’t even see our server for the rest of the night. First and last time here at Gaia.
