Here you will proudly find the trinity of Boxty- Boiled, Baked and Pan, as well as our own unique version of the French Fries – The Boxty Fries, made from Boxty Pancakes. In the 1980’s, Pádraic Óg was the first to Flip & Fill a Pan Boxty and create this restaurant - The now famous Gallagher’s Boxty House, placing Boxty centre stage to showcase the best of Irish produce and renowned Irish hospitality in an ambiance reminiscent of an old Irish kitchen. It was really yummy! I have never had a boxty before, and I wanted to get a sample of several, so I got the Gallagher's Platter. My favorite was the sweet chili & honey boxty dumplings.

Excellent dinner with fantastic service. The shepherds pie is brilliant and the Irish coffee is the best we've ever had.

Great local food experience. Enjoyed boxtys for my first time. Good selection of local libations. Did not feel too touristry but you are in close quarters. Make a reservation.

The Christmas Experience in Gallagher's Boxty House was amazing. I was greeted by amazing staff and than seated to my table. I was given a glass of Processco and proceeded to order dinner. There was one staff who was outgoing and made people feel happy. Wonderful drinks and food and the attention to detail on the food items was amazing. Happy Christmas to Boxty House and Happy New Year. Will be back next year.

We were away from home on Christmas Day and didn’t expect to find a nice, sit down restaurant open. Let alone, find a traditional Irish place open for their first Christmas dinner! Gallagher’s did not disappoint at all! We had an absolutely wonderful experience! Food was fantastic (a set menu, but options for starters and main entree), service superb, and the atmosphere festive. Thank you for opening your door to us on Christmas Day - a grand time!
