Gallop's Kitchen and Bar Powell is locally owned with 22 beers on tap and a wide selection of craft bottles and cans, wines, and bourbons. Though we are best know for our hand-stretched New York Style pizzas, our menu offers many fan favorites like the Pierogis, house-brined Wings and Sunday Brunch.

    We were able to see the OSU game - no problem. The food was delicious and the wait staff was courteous and attentive.

    I have visited this restaurant many times. Always had great service until this night. Server was inattentive and grilled cheese was just warm. So sorry for this experience. Since we live within walking distance

    We went for lunch. They don’t have coffee or any hot drinks. They didn’t have milk or any kid friendly drinks. The food was terrible even as bar food goes. I’m sure it is a fun place at night to have drinks and watch sports. But they have “kitchen” in their name, implying they want diners not just drinkers. It is simply not a good place for dining. Especially not family dining.

    Well I showed up for my reservation on Mother’s Day at noon. The place was closed. Not a person to be found. Since it was Mother’s Day, we had to scramble around to find alternative dining. I will not be eating there again. Has really gone downhill since it changed names/ownership.

    Slow service. They seemed understaffed. The Cuban sandwich was very good. However, I prefer a crispier pizza crust, but it had good flavor.

    Very good selection of beer. Pleasant and bright atmosphere, even at night. Blackened chicken salad was very good. Easy viewing of TVs, if you want.
