I go to garibaldis all of the time and usually love it. The food is great especially the chicken Milanese and the burger. I also love the chopped salad. What bothered me was the inflexibility of the staff/host. We had a table for 4 but bumped into two friends who were going to eat at the bar. We asked if they could join our table. The hostess said no. We asked again to be certain. The two tops on either side of us remained open for the entire time. So it would have been easy to push one of the tables together with our four top. The service mentality that garibaldis has always been known for was missing last night. Our server was excellent as always but clearly they need someone running the front of the house who gets service and gets restaurants. This person did not. So I left disappointed in my neighborhood gem that I have been frequenting for 20 years or more. Let’s hope they can resolve this issue and find someone who gets what it means to make people feel welcome and taken care of.

What a great New Year’s Eve dinner at Garibaldi’s! They had their usual menu with all our favorites — appetizers of roasted carrots with spicy ranch dressing, and meatballs with grilled bread — plus special appetizer of oysters on the half shell and sautéed shrimp. For entrees we had the steak with tasty herbed fries and the mushroom risotto. Everything was delicious. Service was great as always.

Our dinner was very mediocre One enter arrived cold basicallly. I mentioned it and they did take it off the hill which was nice but I’d rather have had a good entire Service was slow

We were a party of 4 celebrating 2 Birthdays . Our experience was not great . The service was absolutely awful . We had to ask multiple times for different things to be brought to our table Refiils of drinks, Bread, ect All of us are long time customers of Garibaldis Today was a very disappointing experience for all of us !!

We had a wonderful dinner last night. The restaurant was full and it’s very loud, so we were so happy to be seated in the back room; much quieter. Our server was terrific! She was so friendly and full of energy and great insights. We started with the warm bread and olive tapenade which everyone loved. Ditto for the carrots with jalapeño ranch and the papas bravas. Two of us had the chicken Milanese. This dish is so good and the chicken is a very generous size. The other two had the salmon. They liked it but weren’t overwhelmed. The presentation was lovely and they did love the beans it came with. Overall it was a terrific meal and we will be back!

Absent service, host was on it and took cocktail order because server was buried. Ordered turkey pot pie, server flatly says “we’re out” no apology, cocktails arrived AFTER apps were FINISHED! Ordered a beer when entrees arrived it came after entrees were finished and cleared They seemed very short staffed. Never going back
