   Wonderful prompt service by all staff we encountered. Friendly and our glasses were never empty. Best experience I’ve had in awhile in a restaurant.

   Our table of four enjoyed our drinks. The meal was delicious. The service was excellent. We were told upon arrival that we had a 2 hour limit on our table. In the future, I would recommend going in the summer so that you can enjoy a walk without time limits after your meal.

   I heard great things about this place so maybe my expectations were too high but for the price, the food should have been spectacular. 6 of the 8 dishes that we had were just ok with one of them needing to be sent back as the rice wasn't cooked and the shrimp was fishy. Chicken sandwich was bland at best. Our waitress was great, apologizing for the kitchen so she gave us a $50 gift certificate to compensate.

   I hate to give the food 4 stars but out of the 4 dishes we tried, one just didn’t hit OUR mark. I’m sure others would love it though. It was the cold fish. But, that aside, the evening was incredible. You definitely don’t feel like you’re in Winnipeg when you’re here. The beet salad and carrots were the best part of the meal. My partner was melting in her chair with every bite. It’s nice to have the gardens to visit after and walk off your food too.

   Lovely atmosphere created by the use of lighting, wood, and friendly service. The mushroom risotto dish was delicious. Starter of 3 tacos was also very tasty. Not sure why it is served with only 3 shells as the quantity of filling was plentiful enough to serve the 4 of us. I would suggest a few more Gluten Friendly items that are also Vegan to provide more options or state on your menu that this can be made GF/V without having to ask the server about each dish. I would also love to see bison and Manitoba pickerel as an option!

   Love the vibes! Food was amazing! Great date night and such a bonus to have the leaf to explore afterwards.
