George & Orange is an intimate 18 seat [40 with our patio] restaurant, specializing in shareables, craft beer and cocktails, with a focus on all things local.
Please note - OpenTable reservations are for INDOOR tables only. If you would like to reserve a seat/seats at our bar, a table on our patio, or for groups over 4 people - please call us during business hours at 289-252-0227, or email us at info@georgeandorange.ca. Alternatively, you can leave us a note on your reservation to request the patio, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Once again, I had an amazing meal at George & Orange! The Spicy Chicken Sandwich was one of the best that I’ve ever had and the Roasted Potatoes were again, so delicious. The Espresso Martini and Dirty Martinj made by Erin were perfect!! The service (as always) was wonderful 🧡

Located on a quiet corner 1 block north of the main street, the G&O has become a staple of of Cobourg dining out. Small, funky, great bar, and overseen by excellent dependable staff who have been there since the beginning. The well thought menu is not overly large, prepared in an open kitchen, and served promptly. Our favourite Cobourg restaurant since it opened.

Love this place. The patio at night is so cute and lit up. The food is always amazing and the service was on point. This place really is a gem.

First time having dinner here the food was great, service was perfect, love the decor and the music brought back memories of my Dad. We will definitely be back!

As always...G&O knocked it out of the park. The cocktails and wine were perfect, prompt and properly chilled on a hot night. Service was attentive, without being annoying. And the food was so delicious. Carpaccio was silky and perfectly seasoned. The charcuterie board was all the things...savoury, tart, sweet and crunchy. What more could you ask for...except a spicy chicken sandwich--which just left me wanting more! Thank you G&O for never letting me down.

Always a charming place for a special afternoon or evening out. First-rate guac and pico de Gallo (though home-made tortilla chips would be a nice touch; the vegetable sandwich is delicious; the veggie power bowl is extraordinary. Small but nice selection of zero-alcohol beers. We didn't have the veggie tacos this time, but they too are amazing, and fun.
