Good food, easy parking, quiet enough for conversation. This was my third time for lunch only. It is pricey. It seems the prices keep sneaking up. The food is yummy! The salmon salad was delicious with a big piece of salmon but $24. I’ve always enjoyed the pear and brie Panini. Service was not great this time. I think there was only one waitress. She was sweet but inattentive. She said we could flag her down when we needed something. That took getting out of the seat twice.

We went to George's for a surprisingly quiet New Year's Eve meal, but this is what we were hoping for. They brand themselves as a "bistro", and I get it, but the prices seem rather high for this environment/atmosphere. The service was a bit slow, especially with how slow they were. Maybe their "A team" wasn't all there given it was New Year's Eve. We started with the crab cakes (it should have been singular), and it was the best taste of the night. We had the cacio e pepe with chicken added, and it was fine, but nothing great. We also ordered the signature George's burger (unclear on the menu if it was to be served on a but or what). To be fair, the waiter tried to steer me away from this as he said the kitchen had missed badly on temperature earlier that night. But I went ahead and ordered it anyway. Now I'm a of medium rare person, or even a little mid-rare/under", but this burger was still mooing! After the warning from the waiter, I didn't want to send it back, but this was basic burger grilling at its worst. There are too many other nice places where the food and atmosphere is better and comes with more value. Worth a try, but I don't see a return in my future.

Lunch with a friend. Food was great as usual. Opted to go with the Kale salad adding shrimp.

Our server was working at the bar AND as a server for several tables, including ours. We sat down at 5:50 pm, and didn't get our entrees until 6:45 pm; we had to wait about 40 minutes for our food to be cooked, and another 10 minutes for the server to get them to us. I know this because I actually looked at my watch. When our entrees were finally cooked, we noticed they were just sitting on the kitchen counter while our server was taking care of other diners, including readjusting their food bill (!). Couldn't he have adjusted it after he (or someone else) brought our food first??!! Other servers were busy too, taking care of their tables, but if someone's food is just sitting at the counter, somebody should've just pitched in and bring the food to the table. We tried to make eye contact with our server AND the owner, but they just ignored us. When we finally got our food, we mentioned our dissatisfaction to the server, but he just brushed us off - with NO apology. My dish, Pappardelle Bolognese was cold and needless to say, the experience was terrible. Not trying to sound entitled, but...we are frequent diners there and feel that they should've, at the very least, said "we're sorry, the food took so long..."

I’ve eaten here for lunch several times. It’s always delicious! It’s a wonderful menu, but I keep returning to some of the same things. The salmon salad, the salmon club, and the brie and pear panini. All delicious. A nice cocktail menu is a plus for celebrating. I also love the quiet atmosphere, outdoor dining option, small size, and very easy parking.

Having heard so many good things about George's food, we were very excited to eat there for the first time. So when after an hour of sitting and waiting for a salad to show up, our enthusiasm waned. It turned out that there were only two wait staff, and ours was also doubling as the bartender. So we had to keep asking the nice woman who was bussing tables to get his attention for us. In fact, She and the hostess deserve the credit for ensuring we got our food, which was delicious. We left the "bus lady" a cash tip -- she earned it, and she couldn't have been kinder or more attentive. I understand that restaurants are understaffed and struggling to find help, but going out to dinner is a treat for us and it costs money. Suffice to say that, while the food was very good, the overall experience was disappointing.
