One of the best restaurants I’ve been to - the vibe was lovely, the service impeccable and the food excellent. Plus it’s dog friendly which was another win. Will definitely be returning

We were welcomed with a bad smell of damp / drains. I tried to ignore this. Then sat on worlds smallest table. Starter was good. Calzone good. Dough very good. Service odd. I left £8 or the £9 OPTIONAL tip and was asked for the extra £1 on my way out the door quite aggressively. Disappointed as so many good restaurants in the area. Good value

Had a lovely dinner here last Friday evening after flat hunting in the area. Had a lovely bottle of Montepulciano and the arancini was great which we shared and my Dad really enjoyed his lasagne. He said it was the best lasagne he had had and he has had many across London, Essex and Italy! I loved the special of the day which was a crab in squid ink parcel pasta. Can’t remember which and I polished off the tiramisu alone! Staff very friendly and relaxing ambience. We will be back. Thanks
