   Music was so loud and techno at 1 pm . People had to yell . Not relaxing at all. When I asked the waiter if they could lower the music volume, he answered the manager doesn't want to change it because it is part of the "Vibe " The waiter is nice and polite , like all of the staff there.

   Gjelina was excellent! I dined solo for brunch and was treated like a queen! The food was excellent - I had the duck hash and panna cotta. They also gave great coffee which is not always a given at restaurants. I’m so glad they are back, and 100% would dine again.

   Great food and service. Gets pretty loud for dinner but not overwhelmingly. Bottarga spaghetti was our favorite. Duck confit was a hit too. We also overstayed our welcome (probably a 3 hour dinner) and no one bothered us once to hurry up which is a lost art in NYC dining in 2025. 10/10

   Gjelina was very welcoming, with friendly and attentive service. We sat at the bar where Matt, the bartender, couldn't have been nicer. When we realized one of the dishes contained ingredients we couldn't eat, he exchanged our plate for something else with no fuss at all. The food was top notch. I'm not a dessert person usually, but the panna cotta with rhubarb was outstanding!

   Really a terrific experience across the board. Such an interesting menu— everything was well presented and delicious. Angelina was wonderful.

   The service was spotty; the food is usually delicious but not today. And we've been at least 5x since the restaurant opened. NO changes allowed, even sauces on the side. I like hot sauce but today, my food was drowned in hot sauce...

    Food was good but over-hyped. Improvement needed in service, felt like staff didn’t want to be there. Got sat at the bar even with a reservation.
