LOVE THIS RESTAURANT. We can always count on delicious food, beautifully presented with excellent service and QUIET ambiance, so hard to find at times... Only wish they had a few healthier options as well for appetizers and entrees. Salmon and trout always good, but if they had a few more, lighter offerings we would go more often. Beet soup was outstanding, as were the scallops on carrot puree. Sauteed kale with garlic side was also very good. Joy took such good care of us. We have happy memories of this place and love going back there.

We started with a non-alcohol option for dry January. Joy, our server bartender offered her own cocktail creation or a beer. We opted for the beer and it satisfied our desire. We followed it with the warm spinach salad that the kitchen nicely split for us. Delicious. It was frigid outside so we both ordered the special lasagne. It was delightfully satisfying and comforting yet light. We were too full for dessert but so many sounded tasty.

It's always a pleasant experience to eat at Glass Onion. You are greeted like a long lost friend, guided politely to a waiting table and treated like a most welcome guest. The food is always excellent, the service is top notch and the garlic rolls to die for. We almost always have leftovers too. That means we get to relive the pleasant experience at home on another evening. You won't go wrong if you book a dinner at Glass Onion. It's reliably marvelous.

Our dinner with a guest at Glass Onion was outstanding. Parking is across the street. The ambiance is bustling. The service was seamless. The food was scrumptious. Two of us shared a Bosc Pear & Roasted Beet Salad, which was just delicious. My Grilled Scottish Salmon with a tarragon-mustard cream sauce, with a black lentil salad, was sensational. Her House made Fettuccini with a braised mushroom ragu was excellent. The Almond Cake with a raspberry sauce was light and not too sweet. All in all, a terrific evening for the three of us.

Clearly one of best 2-3 restaurants in the greater Asheville area. Not only is the food spot on but the service is flawless. Highly recommended
