We visited this restaurant as a group of five late at night, so the crowd was quite minimal. However, our experience left much to be desired, starting from the seating. The chair I chose had dirt on it, which was unpleasant to deal with. To add to that, the server didn’t offer us water at any point—we had to specifically request it, and that too only after our food was served.
As for the food, the restaurant clearly shines when it comes to beef burgers. They offer an impressive variety, and the friends in our group who ordered beef burgers couldn’t stop raving about the juiciness and rich flavors. Unfortunately, the same enthusiasm didn’t extend to non-beef options.
Being a vegetarian, my choices were limited. I could either opt for the Vegan Burger or spend an additional $5 to substitute a vegan patty into one of the beef burger options. I chose the Vegan Burger, but it was a disappointment. The patty was dry, and the burger lacked enough sauce to compensate for that dryness, making it an underwhelming experience. Another member of our group, who doesn’t eat beef, ordered a chicken sandwich and had a similar reaction. He found it comparable to something he could pick up from a fast-food chain, which is hardly a compliment at this price point.
As for desserts, we tried the cookies and cream shake and the brownie sundae. Unfortunately, neither was particularly impressive. While they weren’t bad, they didn’t stand out either—especially considering the price, which warrants something extraordinary. For the same quality, one could easily visit a place like Dairy Queen for half the cost or McDonalds for even lesser.
Conclusion: if you’re a beef lover, this place will likely exceed your expectations, as my friends who ordered the beef burgers were thoroughly impressed. But if you’re a vegetarian, avoid beef, or are looking for great chicken options, I’d recommend dining elsewhere. In fact, my friend suggested that Dave's Hot Chicken might be a better choice for chicken.
