Return customer, had a wonderful time, will 100% be coming back, and would recommend to anyone, even if you're not a steak eater.
Another stellar dining experience. Had the chance to stop by while in town for Christmas. Party of five, one of whom is not a steak eater. The table was ready when we got there, with a nice view of the lake. Service was prompt and knowledgeable. Started with apps of crab cakes and shrimp cocktail. Both were very good, but the cocktail sauce was a bit sweeter than I remember and could have used a touch more sauce. The shrimp were very large and tasted amazing. The crab cake was incredible. They also brought out a great onion focaccia, and they had two types of butter; one regular and one with beef tallow, which everyone enjoyed trying. For mains three of us had steak. One got the individual Wellington, which had one of the most tender filets I've ever tasted and which might be the best value on the menu. The other two had traditional steaks, one ribeye and one Wagyu strip. The consensus was that the Wagyu is noticeably more flavorful, but both were a delight. The ribeye was served Oscar style with crab and hollandaise and asparagus, a first for that diner and something he expressed a desire to return for. The other two dined on sides, ordering soups and salads along with more traditional sides such as macaroni and brussels. One of the non-steak diners was able to order the shrimp accompaniment from the steak section to add to a potato, and she said it was the best potato she'd ever had.
In summation, the five of us had a wonderful meal. The staff was great, the food was excellent, and they went out of their way to give just as good of an experience to those of us who aren't big meat eaters. I will absolutely return, and would highly recommend.
