Classic American Comfort Food with a North West Flair
Situated on the main floor of the Gordon Hotel, The Gordon Tavern is an oasis of Americana. The modern decor with rustic undertones, features natural wood accents and serves as the perfect backdrop to a rich and clever menu of classic American comfort food with a northwest flair.

                                                We had the most wonderful wedge salad either of us has ever had. Service was impeccable, drinks and food came fast. Going back next week for more great apps and meals!

                                                The ambiance and service was great but the food was not. My friend had a burger and that was ok but my fish and chips were terrible and burned hard crips of fried batter with barely any fish. We both had fries that were not very good or hot. My friend got a pizza and it was very mediocre/boring. Really nice servers but food sadly so meh.

                                                I went for brunch and the food was pretty standard for that, including the cocktails. I had the White Bellini, which to me had a grapefruit acidity to it. The waitstaff was excellent and the look of the tavern was modern but warm. My biggest disappointment was that I was seated close to where staff was apparently washing dishes and pans. Very, very noisy.

                                                Fabulous food and even better service. We love coming here to eat. It’s one of our favorite restaurants in Eugene.

                                                My husband ordered the Black Cod and he said it was cooked to perfection. I ordered the Filet and it was tender and delicious. The atmosphere was work casual, comfortable and nice
