   I'm giving BGK in Temple Bar overall top marks because I, unfortunately, left them in the lurch by getting the timing of my comedy event wrong. I ordered my meal and drink last Friday and then got an alert on my phone flash up just as the event was about to begin! I necked my beer and then had to run to grab a taxi to the venue just as my meal was in it's final minutes of cooking and the waitresses tried their hardest to get me to take it as a take away but I tried to explain that it would have been a waste of perfectly good food because security would have made me throw the entire order in the bin or refuse me entry to the show. I did not do a good job at explaining (I'm disabled, special needs) and they looked exasperated but let me leave after paying only for my drink. I'm am really sorry for the mix up and I promise that I will return again (if I'm not banned) and order and eat my meal when I next fly in to Dublin. I was gutted and disappointed that this error happened so much but it wasn't the restaurant's fault, it was mine. Everyone please visit this lovely eaterie in Temple Bar Square, it's so nice. Again I apologise from the heart and I hope that the food was not wasted and got consumed by staff at least. If I'm allowed, I will come back later in the year and stay long enough to eat! I'm so sorry xxx

   We had a lovely dinner and it was fab there was a GBK in such a central location. The servers were nice and attentive.
