More like "Bozos"! If you are expecting to come here for a special night, be ready to have your plans ruined! Arrived on time for an 8:15PM Valentine's Day reservation, was told that they had to sit a list of more than 10 reservations first and it'll be a 1.5 hour wait after that for us. The lady in front laughed when I said "I have a reservation" like it was a joke. Also, I asked why they didn't call us to inform us, she just picked up the phone and ignored us. As we were leaving, we saw at least three other couples show up (and maybe 3 others waiting in their cars) ready for their special night. I feel bad for the ladies who put in all the work to look amazing only to be turned out so rudely. Never again, and I hope the NUMEROUS people who got rejected on such a special occasion chime in so people know about the crappy management and service!

We came here with a reservation at 6:00pm for Valentine’s Day and of course expected to wait a little bit but not an hour and 40 minutes! Was able to sit at the “bar” until seated and enjoyed some beers and live music. Finally, we sat down but did not get any service for another 20 minutes and with no apology for the extremely long wait, we had to ask for the complementary champagne. Starter was served, we ordered the spicy prawns and beef crostinis which were just ok. The crostinis were not toasted and the best part of the starter was the pineapple slaw that came with the prawns. For appetizers we had the arugula fig salad and the potatoe leek soup, the salad was underwhelming but the potatoe leek soup was delicious. For the main course we ordered the herb airline chicken and the beef Wellington which were delightful but the dough on the beef Wellington was raw. Chef came by the table to check on us after dinner and we let him know about the raw dough on the beef Wellington, he appreciated the feedback and ended up comping a couple beers I had already drank. We ended up driving thru weinersnitzel after to get a perfectly cooked beef Wellington (aka a corn dog) less than a 100’ away from the restaurant. FYI…There’s signs in the bathrooms that say do not flush even toilet paper (they must be flushing the raw Wellington down the toilet).

Went for Valentine’s and yes they overbooked (New business) but their food and ambiance was on point. No one that actually sat down wanted to leave which I believe created the long wait !!! We had to wait 1 hour past our Valentine reservation. This never happens when we have went on regular occasions. Will definitely go back and understand the growing business pains. Delicious food!!!

I successfully booked a reservation for lunch at this restaurant. When I arrived with guests, I found the restaurant was not open.

I wanted to take my wife somewhere special for Mother's Day and boy was Gozo Kitchen a hit. They had a special Mother's Day Brunch and menu. Everything was DELICIOUS. The pasta, potatoes, and asparagus all had wonderful tasting flavors. The prime rib was good and tender. The shrimp cocktails which included nice size shrimp accompanied by a great tasting and yummy cocktail sauce with a mild kick. Service was wonderful. We were even entertained by Chris Logan and his band providing live music to listen to while we ate. We got a chance to meet and have a nice conversation with Chef Miguel and let him know how pleased we were with our visit and meal. We can't wait to return so we can enjoy more of their dishes. If looking for a wonderful restaurant in the Chino area you will need to visit Gozo Kitchen. You will not be disappointed!

$60 posted price was charged at $65 each. Was told drinks were included but was added to the bill in the end (OJ & coffee @$20 total). No matter how much more of the prime rib was requested, the server served very, very little. As if only a small sliver is being requested. Overall, the feeling was we were being very limited to what we can have…on a supposedly all you can eat brunch. And we were not even having a lot as the food was just ok. Not ever going back as the food and service, specially at the price point, was not even close to being worth it.

I was pleasantly surprised by my wife and I’s experience here. My wife had told me great things about Chef Miguel Reyes and his restaurant and we decided to come on a date night. WE HAD AN AMAZING DATE NIGHT. The ambience was great as each table was lit with candles and it created a romantic environment. The servers were very attentive and followed up with us frequently while also giving us their recommendations on food & drinks. The food was incredible and they have a great selection of drinks. The best part was that Chef Miguel came over to check on us and every guest to ask us about the food and if we were having a good time. Chef Miguel is humble, attentive, and easy to have a conversation with. What stood out the most is how attentive he was to everyone in general! We will definitely be back.

My husband and I went there for the Valentine's special dinner, which was a prix fixe dinner menu. The hostess greeted us right away - we had a 6:00 reservation and arrived about 15 minutes early but we were still able to be seated right away. The hostess was very gracious. Our server came to the table right away, bringing us 2 glasses of champagne and a "Rose for the lady", which was a very nice touch. For the appetizer, we both had the scallops, which were excellent. Next, we both had the salad which was fairly good, the portion of salad was very small. We both had the filet mignon. My steak was cooked properly. My husband had ordered his "charred, medium-rare", due to the fact that the steak were very thin cuts, his was not really cooked to those specifications. The steaks were served with mashed potatoes and asparagus as well as 2 prawns and a small lobster tail. My husband did not care for his shrimp. One problem with the shrimp was that it was whole and still had a shell and it was difficult to peel neatly. For dessert, we had the Coppa Tres Chocolate, which was delicious! Overall, we had a very nice evening and we will come back again at a time when we can order off the regular menu to try some of their other items.
