Located in the heart of historic downtown Mobile, Chef Mark Strickland has prepared an outstanding seasonal menu of cuisine that encompasses our casual meets fine dining concept. Grace's beautiful main dining room seats over 100 guests open to the street for an indoor/outdoor experience. Our rooftop bar and lounge offers extra lounge seating and craft cocktails while enjoying a beautiful view of downtown Mobile for lunch, to watch the sunset, or to hang out late night with friends in a comfortable atmosphere. Whether you are upstairs or downstairs, be sure and check out Chef Mark's seasonal wontons, hand selected steaks and chops, fresh ground hamburgers, local seafood dishes, and fantastic dessert selections. Yesterday was my first time to eat at Grace. It was fantastic. Our waitress, Amy, was a delight and the food was amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the rooftop.

The food took a long time to arrive, the waitress had a bad attitude, she was hostile, the menu is not really as varied as it appears on the website.

The service was excellent. Server (I forget his name) was knowledgeable and forceful with suggestions. Overall food was delicious….a couple of things came out cool to luke warm. But really tasty overall. Perhaps we sat in the wrong place and perhaps I’m a bit old fashioned but the noise level at times was unbearable with drunk girls screaming as only drunk girls know how to do. Suggestion: Are you a fine dining establishment or a sports bar?

It took 42 minutes from the time we got our appetizers to the time we got our entrees- both 2 med rare steaks. The steaks with the Gorgonzola crust were amazing. The lump crab and fried green tomatoes were different. I was expecting lump crab pieces, but it was more like crab chowder over fried green tomatoes.

I’ve always loved the drink menu here, but today, the cocktails fell a bit short. The upstairs area seemed understaffed, which may have contributed to the experience. The shrimp and grits were as flavorful as ever, but the presentation lacked its usual appeal—it looked like it had been sitting for a while. Grace is typically outstanding, but today just didn’t quite measure up. Maybe next time will be better!

My wife and I, had finally taken a long overdue Dinner Date and Night out for ourselves since we hadn’t in so long. I made reservations for 2. Let’s just say food was spectacular. Our service was superb,…(Ashley), big shout out to you. And the experience was amazing. It definitely made us feel like it was just us again. (no kids). It was definitely very much needed. But because it was so amazing we will be back at least once a month or every other month. Thank you GRACE.
