Gran Cafe L’Aquila will never disappoint us. We hadn’t been there in four years and I’m sad we didn’t get there sooner! Our server, Mimmo, took excellent care of us from food recommendations, to wine recommendations and anticipation of what we would need! This weeks highlight city is Venice and we took full advantage of the special menu. We ordered the bruschetta, lasagna, conchetti (sausage and lentils), wine and brioche pudding! From start to finish our meal was incredible! I was skeptical about the lasagna but I think it was my favorite! Can’t wait to go again!

We have often walked past this little gem and assumed it was just a cute authentic Italian cafe and gelato place. We were so wrong! We felt as though we were back in Italy and the food and service was extensive and outstanding - I am a very discerning fan of Saltimbocc and it was perfect! We wil be back again, and again, and again.

Average at best. I went here about 5 years ago shortly after it opened, but it’s certainly not as unique or delicious as I remember

Best Italian food we have ever had. Everything is perfect from cocktails to cheese selection to main dishes to the gelato selections! 10/10 we will be back when we are in Philly again!

Wonderful Italian place. Downstairs has a bar and a grocery section. Upstairs is dining. The staff is really polite, food is good. Overall, a great Italian food experience.

The New Year’s menu selections were outstanding. Planning to go back by 1/6 when the menu ends. Best Italian restaurant around.

Everyone was amazing on the serving staff from the Hostess to the bartender to the incredible server Roberta. The manager was solicitous and attentive. The wine was other worldly and the food obscenely delicious. Cannot wait to take more of my family there

The overall experience was okay, but I won't go back. Some of the food was only luke warm and a bowl of plain pasta with olive oil was ridiculously overpriced at $19. A few bright spots - the gelato and tiramisu were delicious and the fried artichokes were well prepared. It was pretty noisy at 5pm, I can't imagine how noisy it gets later in the evening.
