Landmark Vanderbilt Hall, once the Terminal's main waiting room, has been transformed into Grand Brasserie, a New York City meeting place with Parisian flair. Open daily from 5:30 AM to 2 AM, our brasserie features two impressive bars and dining rooms, offering a menu filled with timeless French classics. Whether you're seeking a morning espresso, a leisurely lunch, or a late-night drink, Grand Brasserie is your go-to destination for authentic French cuisine in the heart of New York City.

How to get to. Located inside Grand Central Terminal, in the grand Vanderbilt Hall.

89 E 42nd St. Entrance to Grand Central Terminal at 42nd Street & Park Avenue.

Grand Brasserie is an airy 400-seat restaurant and bar, open during the terminal’s hours, 7 days a week. Brunch from 5:30 AM - 3 PM. Dinner until 2 AM. Lunch Prix Fixe menu available daily.

noisy but exciting. The fried artichokes were great. Look forward to coming back to try more dishes.

After waiting 1/2 hour with reservations made over a month ago, the maître d’ still had no clue when we would be seated. There was a whole pile of people with reservations earlier than us experiencing the same thing, including a group that had been waiting for over 1 hour. Exasperated, we gave up and found a nice restaurant around the block that seated us right away. Something is wrong.

Stunning design with art deco theme in this very large yet intimate space. Our food was delicious. Traditionally French brasserie food done well. Excellent service. Will return

Place was cool and the bar complete and beautiful. Lovely ambience in a holiday spirit atmosphere and the food was good. Had to ask for water and bread, but service was otherwise good!

The food was excellent. We had the escargot and the moules frites along a salad. The waitress never got back to us on the type of mushrooms in the side. We ask her again at the end of the dinner and then she had to go check one more time before letting us know. Did not order it because it was too late.

The place is very pretty. We've eaten there 3 times now with out-of-town visitors. The food has gotten more mediocre with each meal. Not enough staff, so long waits for bread basket, wine, etc. Staff people are friendly, the decor is impressive, the food--meh. Oysters were frozen! Eggs were tough. Prices too high for the quality.

Such a cute place and food was great! Reasonably priced for the portion size and just a super cute vibe. Took a while to take our order, but we enjoyed taking our time!

Enjoyed the experience. Only drawback was front staff being indifferent to whether we were there or not...they seemed to care less.
