Open daily from 5:30 AM to 2 AM, our brasserie features two impressive bars and dining rooms, offering a menu filled with timeless French classics. Whether you're seeking a morning espresso, a leisurely lunch, or a late-night drink, Grand Brasserie is your go-to destination for authentic French cuisine in the heart of New York City.

How to get to. Located inside Grand Central Terminal, in the grand Vanderbilt Hall.

89 E 42nd St. Entrance to Grand Central Terminal at 42nd Street & Park Avenue.

Grand Brasserie is an airy 400-seat restaurant and bar, open during the terminal’s hours, 7 days a week. Brunch from 5:30 AM - 3 PM. Dinner until 2 AM. Lunch Prix Fixe menu available daily.

Very good food but timing around service from our waiter was slow. Once you can order, the food arrives very quickly. Great ambiance and a wonderful respite in the heart of GCT.

It was a classic spot for a wonderful holiday dinner. The back room is large but decorated beautifully! Glass liquor bottles line the back wall and are lit as if its an art installation, and pictures of famous artists over the decades adorn the walls. Its spacious but not loud and the food was delicious. Everyone had a great meal and the service was impeccable!!!!

I dined here with two friends. We all enjoyed the appetizers and all three of us had the filet frites and spinach. Service was attentive and efficient. One issue was that the main dining room was cold. I understand that there are large sets of doors near the entrance to the restaurant but the room was COLD. please fix the temperature because we would love to return!

It was a very festive experience. The place was decked out for the holidays which mad the ambiance quite enjoyable. The service was excellent, the food fabulous for bistro fare. It would be my French bistro food go to place from now on

Overall a nice experience, we went to bring out of towners for a NYC experience which I think succeeded. Hostess and staff was very nice. It took a little while to get things, but not too bad, which is understandable considering how busy the place is, and we were not in a hurry, so it was fine. Food was very good, pricey but not bad considering everything. Would definitely go back.

Whether you are from NYC or not, you cannot get a more iconic location than GCT. The food is excellent. The service was slow but In their defense they let us sit and talk for 3-1/2 hours. That was awesome and above and beyond, particularly between Thanksgiving and Xmas!

It’s a great French brasserie and a beautiful place. The space for has suffered for years with poor restaurant concepts and now this new French concept is a smash hit and the place is always thriving. Congratulations!
