The restaurant is beautiful and an experience in itself. However the food doesn't measure up to the place or the price.
My fish was lot bad just not vey spectacular. My wife's food which contained fried shrimp came so overcooked the shrimp was extremely dry.

Loved everything! Amazing server service! Valet is $15 and they don’t open your doors or anything anymore I guess? And now you pay before. Other than that great experience!

Took my family to Sunday brunch for my mother’s birthday. I had a stroller and the staff was exceedingly rude to me regarding the stroller. We sat at the table and my plan was to have my infant daughter next to me while she slept. After we sat, I was told by the staff that strollers weren’t allowed (which was fine, I just didn’t know and no one told me before we sat down) and that it was “unseemly”. I then said I will just hold her then and they started to roll my stroller away with my kid in it. I stopped them and asked them what their the plan is for the stroller and that I need to get the bassinet off the base before they wheel my infant to the effing coat room. They then tried to put her on a chair that wasn’t big enough. Moral of the story is that for the price tag, you’d think you’d get some common courtesy and respect from the employees and at least some okay food. Sadly I got neither and left feeling less than because I am a mom. I should note that at the end of brunch, two staff members complimented my daughter on her behavior and how she was so quiet. Not that it mattered cause the whole place was noisy. Overall, subpar food and rude staff.

Sunday brunch is always good. It's pricey - we paid almost $200 for three people - but it's also basically all you need to eat all day. We ate at 11a and weren't hungry again until like 8p. Also, the food is delicious!

I had a VERY bad experience at Grand Concourse tonight.
We made a reservation for 4:45pm, called to asked if we could push it back to 5:15pm. The hostess said yes, but didn't ask for any information. Thought that was odd so I asked, "do you need my name or anything?" And she explicitly responded "nope". I showed up, and they said they canceled my reservation.....HEH?
We told them what happened over the phone, and one of the three hostesses looked at me, in the most "I don't care, what do you want me to do?" look. I know mistakes happen, and maybe I should have pushed harder to provide my information when changing the reservation. But I was very disappointed at their attitude and how unprofessionally they had handled the whole situation. Anyways, they had a booth seat available at the bar -- so we took the spot.
Waited 30minutes for our waiter to come and take our order. 30 minutes. With just two glasses of water. No starter bread, didn't take our order, no silverware, nothing. We were told to wait twice in the 30 minutes of time.
At this point. We were obviously frustrated. We were visiting from out of town, and it was our last night. The whole night felt ruined with a series of bad experiences.
My husband was VERY upset at this point. Our reservation cancelled, restaurant acting like it was our fault, our server not serving us for half an hour. COME ON. What is going on?!
He spoke to our server about how this entire experience at the Grand Concourse did not feel acceptable, a restaurant that we expected to have a certain level of attentiveness. Thankfully, he understood - and everything was fast from then on.
We got the Schnitzel, a Prime Rib, two draft beers. Beers were good, prime rib was pretty great, and I would skip the schnitzel.
The venue was beautiful. Train station themed which I thought was very cool.
I really wish the management sees this and addresses this with their front staff.
