Honestly, this restaurant goes on and off the radar for my husband and myself but it is truly a Pittsburgh staple and outstanding restaurant. The ambiance is wonderful, food is great & price is very fair. Valet was over staffed and attentative which made it a pleasure from start to finish.

The overall experience went very well for a birthday celebration, however the service that was given was not the best. The food was phenomenal, and would recommend a lot of their dishes.

arrived early decided to have cocktails at the bar the bartenders were outstanding friendly and knowledgable. dinner was superb again excellent service and atmosphere cant wait to return!

We were excited to dine for the first time here and were very disappointed. Our reservation was later so the rush was over. It took 25 minutes to get drinks at the over-half-empty bar while we waited for our table to open, two of the bar tenders appeared to be under the influence. I ordered the mango mojito off the cocktail menu and got a regular mojito. When I went to check on the table they claimed they called me, they had not, but did seat us shortly after. Once at the table things went better, our server was good. Until the runner brought out our main food, mine looked like it almost slid off the plate and my girlfriends came with rice and not the mashed potatoes it was supposed to. When we mentioned it to the runner she said she would check and never returned. When our server came to check on us she at least went and found out what happened and offered to bring another side, which should have been done first and not the kitchen staff subbing whatever. The food was overall lackluster. While I understand it was a busy night part of paying so much for a meal is the experience and service and aside from our server every other interaction with the staff was not a good one including the manager who wasn't checking on any tables or even seemed to care about the complaint the table next to us had. Overall it has turned us off from dining there again.

Valentine’s Day seemed to be very busy for them. This restaurant came highly recommended from peers, but I was sadly disappointed. Firstly, we made a reservation almost 2 weeks ahead of time. When we arrived to check-in, we were told they were running 30 minutes behind. I understand it was an holiday, but a notice beforehand would have been helpful. When we finally were seated, our server was not very attentive, the whole night, and we were offered bread only after our starters were finished. Mine and my partner’s steaks were mixed up temperature wise, and we weren’t told ahead of time that they were out of the smashed potatoes until our plates were already at our table which gave us no choice to decide. We both ordered the filets with the smashed potatoes and asparagus, and we each only got 3 pieces of asparagus on our plates that were not even fully cooked. I would come again on someone else’s dime, but I don’t think the meal was worth the price at all. :( I also requested a window seat to be able to see the water and the city, and we were sat at a window seat inside the building…
