Grand Tavern offers a comfortable atmosphere where you can enjoy some quality company, whether it be with family or friends. Enjoy expertly crafted pub-style cuisine and prohibition-style cocktails arranged from only the freshest ingredients. Of course, an eclectic beer and wine lists is available as well. Stop by for nightly dinner or weekend brunch.

Happy hour runs Monday through Friday 5pm-7pm, as well as on the weekends, Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm. Pair innovative cocktails, refreshing craft beers and eclectic wines with pub-style cuisine such as the British shepherd’s pie, or the classic gluten free IPA beer-battered fish and chips. Classic, mouth-watering burgers and Halal chicken sandwiches are always in vogue at Grand Tavern. Try something new, like the short rib stack, Short ribs marinated in sake, mirin, and red wine and topped with an egg. Impossible burgers and many vegetarian options available as well as many gluten free items.

Amazing find for Sunday brunch!! I think this might be the last uncrowded brunch spot in Cali. We had a reservation, but when we arrived it was uncrowded and peaceful. There is a front and back patio. We sat on the back patio and it was quiet and a great space. I had the farmers scramble and a biscuit. The biscuits are legit! Hubs has the pozole and loved it. Also happily discovered Black Medicine iced coffee. I'm not sure about the lot on weekends, so we parked on the street. Great service, great atmosphere and great food. Thanks, Grand Tavern!

The Grand Tavern is a great place to host a birthday party, company dinner or baby shower. They offer both a customized coursed meal menu as well as a fun small plates menus for parties and will go out of their way to make it a memorable evening for you and your guests. The party menu is a combination of green olive arancini, jalapeno mac and cheese bites, spinach artichoke dip served in little skillets, chicken and steak satay with coconut peanut sauce, mini fish tacos, mini BLT sandwiches and their hand cut french fries or potato chips. They offer pre-order cocktails that they will name after your party (or your favorite song, etc.) which come in large mason jars and are ready for pouring as soon as your guests arrive. There is nothing like starting a party with a drink in hand instead of having to order it at a bar, starting a tab, waiting for its preparation, etc. Oh yes, they also have a really low corkage fee of just $15/per bottle if you'd like to bring your own bubbly to start off the night. They will even make you a sundae bar or create a mixed dessert platter. They offer two different rental areas - the covered patio that has heat lamps, quaint string lights and nice vibe or their indoor dining room that has a candle-lit fireplace and chandelier. The restaurant has been converted from a house so it has a cozy feel to it. Parking can be a little tough on Grand Ave. but if you make a party of 20+. they can reserve a few spots for you in their parking lot. Otherwise, you should encourage guests to carpool or use UBER.
