Owned and operated by husband and wife, Chef Joel and Lani Gargano, coupled with warm and knowledgeable hospitality and a creative and experience kitchen team with Grano Arso is the neighborhood go-to eatery for wholesome cooking, Italian wine, local beers, and specialty cocktails. We invite you to come and experience what community means to us!

***Please note for large parties of 6 and more there is a service charge of 22%. There is a prix fixe menu requirement for parties of 7 to 12 with a service charge of 22% and 50% deposit. Guests will need to have the restaurant book large parties and will not be able to do so on Opentable.***

    What an experience. Our server Nicole was amazing, kind and so very attentive to us our entire meal. The food was fabulous and you could tell is was prepared with care and intent. It was a much needed date night and everything was perfect. We will definitely go again. Kudos to the chefs and the staff for a wonderful meal and experience!

    We had a delicous and wonderful feast of the seven fishes; every thing was amazing!!! I recommend Grano Arso for anyone who enjoys fine cuisine and a beautiful ambiance.

    Dinner of the seven fishes. Awesome. Wide variety of flavors. The scallops and risotto and the black bass were highlights. And the dessert - the apple crostata. Great experience overall.

    We will undoubtedly be back. Experienced some of the best service in our travels around CT upscale dining. Every staff member greeted us with excitement and a natural kindness. Our server (I am blanking on her name I want to say Nicole?) was knowledgeable and informative which made our decisions easy! My comment would be extremely lengthy if I could describe how wonderful the food was. There was an impeccable timeliness which was extremely appreciated!! Truthfully, BUON APPETITO!

    The food was absolutely wonderful - bolognese and shrimp special, as well as our starter salad and calamari. Drinks also outstanding, as was the service. The only disappointment was that we were seated in the back room, which is rather stark, and next to a very loud table. We will definitely return, but request a table in the main room.
