Situated on Kawana Island and overlooking the picturesque Double Bay, the Green Zebra Restaurant & Bar has it all from outdoor fresco dining to private dining and function rooms.

Come and enjoy delicious Modern Australian food and drinks, all made with only the freshest seasonal produce. Listen to the gentle waves lap against the shore while sipping on a cocktail and sharing tasty morsels of small plate starters.

Our name? Green Zebra is a variety of heirloom tomato. Simple as that! Quirky, fun and vibrant; a name people will affiliate with food, and not forget in a hurry.

Our philosophy is uncomplicated, fresh, healthy, moreish food that we love to eat. Our food is prepared in house daily, with passion and precision by our amazing team of chefs.

We work with only the best local suppliers and producers using seasonal ingredients where possible. This extends to our local and domestic craft beer & wine suppliers as well. You can’t hav

    Fist time dinning here, will be back in May with the family. Staff, service and food were top notch.Hubby and I ate way too much but enjoyed the entire experience.

    Highly recommended place with exceptional service and superb dining experience. I have celebrated different occasions here- birthdays, anniversaries etc with friends and family and I couldn't fault the consistency of service that GZ provides. I love the fact that GZ has special offers all the time such as the cocktail on special or the special price of 2 or 3 courses meal. My recent dining was an enjoyable one. My husband had the wagyu whilst I had the 3-course meal- it is definitely worth every $. We were seated perfectly to overlook the waters so that is a bonus! Until our next dining GZ! Thanks for the stalk of rose 🌹 that your lovely staff handed as we left. It truly made our day.

    The meal we had was a set course Valentines Day menu. Part of it was a complimentary glass of bubbles, on arrival, we discovered a single red rose on our table. Meal & service were first class

    We had another great lunch at Green Zebra. Staff were lovely but we cannot understand why they take so long to come back to the table after seating us, to take our first drink order. Plenty of staff and only 4 other customers when we arrived.

    Minimum fuss experienced. Seated at table seconds after confirming booking. Waitress was most attentive, drinks ordered & received quickly. Meals ordered & received in no time. Table of 8 directly behind very talkative but not overly offenssive.

    Our lunch was just great ….from our lavender cocktail, my stuffed zucchini flowers entree, our shared seafood platter and my raspberry pannacotta dessert to coffee at the end …all was lovely . Thank you for the birthday sparkler for my husband. It was a memorable occasion.

    My partner and I always love coming here! The steak is to die for 🤤 Staff are always so kind and caring. The venue is so beautiful as well. Perfect place for a date night!
