The service was poor, no hospitality. Our table was not set on our arrival, other patrons were sitting there. The mussels starter had shards of broken shell in the sauce and possibly "off". Called the property afterwards and customer service was extremely poor. On booking I mentioned Birthday dinner and it was never mentioned at the property. Seriously over priced, couldn't do a white wine sprizer (wine and sparkling water!) The person serving us should not be front of house. Definitely would not recommend or return there. He claimed all food fresh, delivered on Tuesdays and frozen... So not entirely fresh!!!!! We ate there on a Sunday! We could have gone to another local establishment and would be guaranteed fabulous food and service. I thought it would be nice to go to a different venue especially as they are local. Bad idea......
