Greta Solomon's, named after the owner Darlene’s late mother & grandfather is an intimate 26 seat French restaurant located in the heart of Leslieville, Toronto.
Our food menu is inspired by French Cuisine.
All of our dishes are made in house with the freshest ingredients procured from purveyors that are local, family run, Canadian, award winners.
At Greta Solomon’s, our guests feel that they have slipped away to a more leisurely pace, to enjoy our food, our drinks, our atmosphere and our company. You may feel that you have just discovered that little gem of a restaurant that all the locals know about in Paris. We will take you there without having to travel so far.

First time there, and I really enjoyed the food. The tartare was great, loved the horseradish cream to add some kick. The Cesar was avg, but my duck and my friends sweet breads were delish. The restaurant is quite compact ao if you have mobility issues maybe not great. Service was good but transactional.

Extremely nice evening; ambiance, food & service were all excellent. Steak and Cesar were delicious! Will definitely be returning to this cosy restaurant.

This is definitely one of my favourite local restaurants. Going there is always a treat. The new Thursday night format of steak frites and salad is a great idea. We also ordered the chicken liver pate (always good) and a fabulous chocolate dessert. All in all, an excellent experience.

Beautiful cosy restaurant, the service was fast and the food was delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back! I also loved the detail of names on each table instead of simply reserved signs.
