                                                                        Seems like they were understaffed as our server seemed to be serving the entire bottom Floor and saw her run upstairs a few times. She was sweet when she came which wasn’t much since she was so busy. Dirty martini tasted like the olive juice was well past its expiration dates wagyu app was not worth it, bottom piece was overly greasy.

                                                                        Service was great our waiter “Frenchie” provided great service . I ordered lobster bisque soup but I thought it was too spicy , my waiter immediately brought me a salad instead .

                                                                        Absolutely blown away by our experience at Greystone last night. The New York strip was pure perfection - incredibly tender with a perfectly seasoned crust that had me savoring every bite. The wine sommelier helped us pick out an amazing Cabernet that paired beautifully with our steaks. The truffle mac and cheese was decadently creamy, and the Brussels sprouts with bacon were caramelized to perfection. Already planning our next special occasion here!

                                                                        Reservation was easy to make but once we arrived I could see why that was. Restaurant was lackluster to say the least. For what they charge this is clearly a tourist trap spot. Drinks were mediocre, service was almost there but could still be better. Would not be returning but if you are looking for a quick expensive dinner spot in the middle of the gaslamp this could be it.

                                                                        Fantastic restaurant in downtown San Diego A group of us had dinner in the private room, inside the wine cellar and we had a blast. Japanese Wagyu melts in your mouth, great Winelist and Chilean seabass was delicious The service was excellent as well

                                                                        I went for Christmas Eve dinner with friends. I had called a few days prior to confirm there was a pre-fixe menu for the 24th to which a staff member told me there would be. When we arrived no pre-fixe, was told it would be the 25th only. Our server was a bit all over the place, not someone I’d expect at a “fine” steakhouse in the Gaslamp. Half the table got the salmon which was cooked to my liking with crisp edges, but the other half had to send back their steaks for being overcooked or cold. 3 of us were drinking 3 different types of red wine which all got mixed up. The pours were also kind of messy (wine dripping down the side of the glass or onto the white table cloth) which again I wouldn’t expect at a place of “fine dining”. Overall I think this is just another tourist trap downtown, I wouldn’t go again.

                                                                        So disappointed. We were really looking forward to this as our Christmas Eve dinner. 3 out 5 of our meals were overcooked. Got our food and we’re never checked in with again. Poor service and food quality was very disappointing.

                                                                        The food was great but service was average at best for fine dining. When we were seated, the chair had a lot of food and you could tell it was sitting for a while. Instead of cleaning it, they sat us at another table but didn’t clean the dirty seat. The next couple seated there brushed it off on the floor and none of the staff said anything or offered to clean. The waiter kept reaching over us to pour water and kept trying to take our plates we were trying to finish. Will not be back, despite the good food.

                                                                        Nothing special. There are plenty of good steak houses in San Diego. The atmosphere here was nothing special nor was the service. The food was good, but for the price, you would expect more considering what they bill themselves as. I'll pass on trying them again.
