A modern interpretation of the classic American Grill, Grill on 21 is an elevated dining experience within The LaSalle Hotel, an Autograph Collection hotel by Marriott.

Deftly paying homage to tradition while acknowledging modern-day tastes and lifestyles, our menu celebrates quality, seasonality, locality, responsibility, health, and authenticity. As a cohesive blend of classic style, contemporary cuisines, and highly personalized service, Grill on 21 turns the daily breakfast, lunch, or dinner into a moment worth savoring.

Parking Validation is available for guests parked at 326 S Wells Self-Park Garage. Please bring your parking slip with you to be validated at the restaurant.

On weekends and weeknights after 4pm park for FREE at 326 S Wells Self-Park Garage with a meal purchase of $25 or more. Please bring your parking slip with you to be validated at the restaurant. Not valid for valet parking.

    The food was tasty, but my steak and asparagus were both room temperature. The service was professional and friendly, but not as quick as I expected in a restaurant with those price points. They had live jazz in the adjoining lounge area, which was nice. The Limencello Mascarpone was amazing!

    What a delightful discovery! Stepping into this restaurant, I was immediately struck by the beautifully designed space. The interior seamlessly blends elegance with comfort, creating an inviting atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for any meal. While breakfast can often be an afterthought at many establishments, this restaurant exceeded my modest expectations. The food was nothing short of excellent - each dish thoughtfully prepared and expertly executed. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, demonstrating the kind of polished professionalism you'd expect at a fine dining dinner service. The entire experience - from the sophisticated ambiance to the great service and excellent food quality - proved to be a wonderful surprise. Sometimes the best experiences come when you least expect them, and this restaurant delivers precisely that kind of pleasant surprise. This is a solid choice.

    My friends and I was able to reserve a table for 3 on line with very little wait. I ordered Crab cake, Blue wedge salad and 6 oz filet. The food was excellent. I ordered my filet med rare and it was cooked perfect. I would return.

    Great traditional Chicago style steakhouse on the 21st floor at the LaSalle Hotel. We immensely enjoyed our meal and the outstanding service from the staff. They have a spectacular cocktail menu. If you like Old Fashioneds, this is the place. They have like 5-6 items to choose from. I highly recommend the "Not So Old Fashioned". Ambience was nice. You can hold a conversation and be heard even when entertainment is playing at the bar, something lacking in today's Chicago restaurant scene unfortunately. Really enjoyed our meal. We will be back.

    Our server April was very accommodating. The musicians were just getting started when we were leaving. Will be back just for the live music. The manager was very sweet, she made sure everything was to our liking. Great service!
