Good concept, but poorly executed.
Nice place, nice staff, good culinary concept, but the execution by the cook was not at restaurant level.
For the starter we ordered the crab cakes with prawns and Brussels sprouts kimchi. The crab cakes were more like crab fritters, unfortunately deep fried in oil not hot enough, so they were soggy. The Brussels sprouts kimchi was over salted to a point where we couldn’t eat it. The prawns were cooked in shell, however, the cook failed to devein it. Again not restaurant level IMHO.
The wasabi mayo was a positive highlight, bringing some flavor to the dish.
For the main course we had (1) monkfish on potato purée and Brussels sprouts. Biggest failure of the night. The fish was completely over cooked (piece of rubber). And the dish over salted. (2) Bloody & well Steak with chimichurri and potatoes. The meat was cooked well, but the dish over salted as well.
Lastly, also good to know, the wine selection is very limited for a restaurant. Three red wines, with only two matching the level you would expect based on the menu.
In summary, this could be a great place as the culinary ideas are really good, but it needs a cook with the appropriate skills.

Ihre Kritik an meinen Mitarbeitern möchte ich so nicht stehen lassen. Ich habe das Glück zwei voll ausgebildete Köche engagiert haben zu können. Beide Köche haben viele Jahre lang gelernt und gehen ihrer Berufung mit Leidenschaft nach. Meiner Meinung nach machen sie es sehr gut!
