    This restaurant is worth a try. The menu is large and some choices are really good (go for the dumpling starters). Mains are tasty but ours had too much thick sauce. Popadoms at £1 each and the chutney tray at £4.50 really should be avoided on price grounds. The rest of the menu is good value. Ambience is pleasant although decoration is somewhat tired and could do with a rethink. Waiters are polite and professional, but could be a little more cheerful. I’d recommend it for a try, but it won’t be my go-to place in Edinburgh for a couples night out. Might be better for a larger group (as long as you avoid the popadoms).
