Not bad… but not great. It’s tough to judge the taste of the food since… you know…. you are cooking it yourself. The quantity of the food is impressive which is how many restaurants compensate for their quality. This place is in someways similar to Mongolian BBQs. You can’t complain too much because you are doing the cooking. The process of cooking your own food does create a more fun evening. Especially for a group of people and kids. Service was slow. Waiter never brought me a water and tacked on a 20% tip for 3 adults and 2 kids. I’m fine with tipping 20%, just want to make sure the server is actually incentivized to provide ample service. Drinks should not take 20 minutes to order when you are half full. I recently visited Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ and had a good experience overall, but there were a few things worth mentioning. First, while the food was delicious, we were a party of five, and there was hardly any space at our table. It was quite cramped, which made it difficult to truly enjoy the meal. Additionally, there is a gratuity charge for larger parties, which I found a bit inconvenient given the lack of space. I've seen restaurants like this in movies and had no idea there was one like it in Charlotte. I came here the first time with a couple of family members and returned with my friends here for girls' night out. The quality of the food is excellent. The experience of being with family or friends, grilling the food while socializing was such fun, and everything from appetizers to S'mores was delicious! Trevor, our server, was kind, personable and attentive. He explained the menu and made great recommendations. We are definitely coming back! I highly recommend Gyu-Kaku.請問這對你有幫助嗎？
