I’d never been to Gyu-Kaku before, and was entirely pleased with it; a fun, interactive meal experience with family and friends. The food was quite good (particularly the spicy tofu chigae soup and steamed chili dumplings - out of this world!) We got the Gyu-Kaku feast for our party of six and it was just the right amount of food. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet for such a busy place. I had no problem chatting with everyone at our table. Our server George was incredible - attentive, friendly, and helpful. It was a bit chilly sitting next to the side door on a cold night, and the cooking tongs were a little short for the more thin-skinned in our group, but otherwise I have no complaints. Very good services - had a dinner there on Thanksgiving evening. This place was busy, expected. We went for a la carte as the set menu has many things that we did not need. The portion of the expensive Kobe style kalbi short rib is very small, nothing like the picture. I would say half at best. The beef tongue is good with the scallions sauce. This was our first time at this restaurant, which was suggested by our adult son to celebrate his birthday. It was outstanding! The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Our server make excellent alternative suggestions to help with a food sensitivity. It was not inexpensive - we did the course menu experience & added 2 bottles of flavored sake - but worth it for the celebratory experience. I would definitely recommend and would be happy to stop in & sit at the bar and enjoy just the Beef Sukiyaki Bibimbap! It was a favorite of everyone at the table.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

It was delicious. I was late for my reservation so had to wait like 20 more minutes. Server was good and knowledgeable. Grill was perfect. We Had Shrimp and Mushrooms with garlic 🔥 Marinated steaks are absolutely killer here any of them all were incredible flavor. Garlic noodles are dangerously good. Karaage was on point. The restaurant is overall amazing but my only issue is when you have to wait to be seated when you do your reservation. I reserved a table for 8PM and it was just me and a friend. We got there at 7:55PM and we're told to wait which was fine. Then we would see large groups coming in with later reservation times but would get seated before us. We waited an additional 15-20 minutes after our reserved time and were finally seated. Our server was amazing and the food was delicious!
