Local Jones is a bustling New American Restaurant and Neighborhood Bar in the Cherry Creek neighborhood of Denver. Friends and soon to be friends come together to celebrate the things we cherish: great food, great wine, great company from morning to night. Essentially, it was too expensive for what it was. Meaning, the food was good, but the ambience was lacking. For two steak and frite meals it was over $90. By the time you add in two glasses of wine, which were not cheap or that good, the total Including tip was $190. For a little more money, we could’ve gone to Shanahan‘s or Ocean Prime or Narrative or any other restaurant that serves quality food but with a much better ambience and lower noise level. We will be not be back anytime soon.

Disappointing Thanksgiving meal this year. Slow and spotty service, luke warm food, background music a bit loud. Last year was great. But not so much this year.

Thanksgiving dinner- cold turkey and stuffing. The cranberries were bitter, and the mashed potatoes were only lukewarm and lumpy. Hard to mess up Thanksgiving food but they sure did. Desserts were uninspired and average. The pecan pie and pumpkin pie appeared (and tasted) like they had just come from the supermarket’s dessert section. Service was disinterested and generally absent

Went on Thanksgiving for the turkey plate. Ordered pumpkin cake donuts to start. These were cold, dry and not very flavorful. The turkey plate itself was good, but somewhat cold. I just think turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and sweet potatoes should be piping hot when it comes to the table. It was lukewarm.

This was a very nice experience. We booked this online through open table. Due to our sisters flight change, we sent a message that we needed to push back our reservation by 30 minutes and we received a message almost instantly back with our new confirmation time accommodating us with no question. Had a very attentive waitress who was very knowledgable and helpful. Was a wonderful experience.

We grabbed a bite in the bar area for a late lunch. Although the lunch menu is limited, everything on it is excellent. The decor and comfort of the bar area was fantastic. It's a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There's easy garage parking across the street as well.
