It was a very nice way to end the year! I’m glad that we decided to dine-in at your restaurant for the Yew Year’s Eve. I am even thinking to go back for the next year if possible😊 The buffet was great with many choices from seafood to steaks. It was quiet and festive and seemed everyone was having a good time. The service was wonderful as well!

This dining experience was excellent!! Our server, Darius, could not have been better - his timing for everything was perfect - he knew when to let us talk, when we could have fun with him, when we were ready to order, etc. - very situationally aware, which you don't find a lot at restaurants. The food was excellent - great choices and expertly prepared. The Artichoke Tartine, as an appetizer, was one of the best things I have ever tasted and the rest of the table was in agreement! Unbelievable, melt-in-your-mouth, flavors - soooo good! We tried the Cioppino, Kauai Shrimp, Lobster Roll & Braised Short Ribs - all perfectly executed. And of course, the desserts!! Beautiful works of art, that are just as delicious as they are beautiful. Looking forward to another visit real soon, because it was just outstanding. Compliments to the Night Mgr., Michael Villanueva, for running such a fine operation. He couldn't have been more hospitable and more eager to make sure that our dining experience was a good one. And again, to Darius, thank you for making our evening so very special - you are truly one of a kind and the Halepuna should be proud to have you as an employee. Thank you!

Beautiful space and the food was lovely including cocktails! Wonderful staff and service was impeccable! The baked goods and bread was great too.

Lobby, entrance, and public areas very sterile in design and decorations. Needs more breezy Hawaiian feel. Otherwise food and service were excellent.

A beautiful yet casual restaurant in the Halepuna Hotel. The bakery, restaurant and hotel lobby all seamlessly connected, but somehow each is also distinct. The glass wall 'opens' the dining room to the bakery room so you can watch sweet creations being made. Charming staff.

Gathered a group of 6 to celebrate a birthday. First time here for everyone and we all loved this place. Our server, Keaton, was excellent - which is why I made sure to note his name. Will be back for sure.

Our party of 3 arrived early and browsed the bakery. Everything looked delicious, too good to eat. How does the baker(s) create desserts that look fake but are actually edible. We had a lot of time to study the menu, so we ordered as soon as we were seated. We each ordered the French onion soup: delicious, probably one of the best I've ever had. We shared the pork belly banh mi and lobster roll. The banh mi was not your typical banh mi. The pork belly was cook to perfection; this was probably the best banh mi I've ever had. The lobster roll was also very flavorful. It had a lot of crab, but it was a very tiny sandwich. Overall the food is very good, prices are up there, and the portions are small. An average sized male would leave the restaurant still hungry. Conclusion: if you like good food, try it. If you're a big eater, be prepared to leave hungry, or expect to put a dent on your charge card.
