Located in the heart of Old Mandeville on Girod Street, just blocks from the lakefront and St. Tammany Trace, sits a 1940’s cottage with a red tin roof. Take a walk up to the front steps through the kid friendly, fenced-in, outdoor seating area. Inside you will find cozy indoor dining and some of the best southern food around.

Delicious, approachable comfort food made from a chef’s perspective with fresh, local ingredients pulled straight from the Gulf and surrounding farms. The mouth-watering food, accompanied by excellent, yet warm and fuzzy service in the coziest of atmospheres will hopefully leave you dreaming of your next meal at Hambone.
