Delicious food, especially sea bass and broccoli dishes. Lamb and pork belly skewers were delicious. Mushroom and zucchini skewers disappointing. Charming waitresses. It was not warm inside the restaurant so not comfortable, especially each time the door opened. Eventually had to wear my coat

Both the staffs and the chef are very welcoming, friendly. The chef is willing to accommodate to our dietary requirements and very skilful. The food is amazing, sushi is fresh and delicious. We had such a good time and will definitely come back again.

Never got to sit down because reservations were running 2 hours late with everyone waiting outside, none of the staff acknowledged any of the waiting guests, forced to order delivery at home because it was too late to eat elsewhere

Our first dish took an hour to come and honestly it was quite mediocre and overpriced. There was something seriously wrong with the restaurant and especially on a special occasion like this it ruined our evening.

Despite there being a slight Valentine’s Day delay, the food was incredible, and the service was absolutely amazing. We sat right at the bar, able to watch the chef prepare the food, and it made for an incredible experience. The chef talked us through his work and experience whilst also sharing tips for our upcoming trip to Tokyo.

I saw this restaurant had great reviews, so we went for a special occasion. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. We arrived and had to wait to be seated outside in the cold for 20 minutes with many others who also had a reservation. It took us ages to get the server’s attention just to get some menus. Then, 2 hours later, we had only received our drinks and two small starters. We waited an extra 20 mins, but when the rest of the food didn’t arrive and we saw the queue of people waiting increase, we asked for the bill and left. By then, it was 10pm and we had eaten some overcooked edamame and 2 pieces of salmon. The waiter came to charge us and didn’t explain the reasoning when we asked what had happened to our food. So, I don’t understand if they just overbooked people or just kept forgetting about our order. They certainly didn’t pay attention to us all evening unless called.

Second time in Hanasaki and will definately be coming back. The food is delicious and the ambience is relaxing and comforting. Wait time was a little long but not enough to put me off the delicous menu they have

It’s been a long time since I’ve thought of describing a place as outstanding but this was just that!! I was savoring the sensation of such flavorful and silky textures for a few days after. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in London. Thank you to all the staff for just being so wonderful and professional.

An unassuming facade on Cleveland Street hid a fantastic restaurant. The menu had good breadth, the food and service were excellent. The decor was simple but elegant and the lighting was bright enough that it was easy to read the menus and see the food.
