Handies Douzo is Houston's first hand roll focused sushi bar. Following the popularity in the Heights, the team brings its second location to Montrose in 2022. With over 25 years of combined experience in award winning Japanese cuisine and sushi, rising star chefs Patrick Pham and Daniel Lee are excited to join the trendy neighborhood.

Excellent service from the moment we walked in. Hand rolls are top notch along with the staff. Make reservations...this place was hoppin' by 7:00, and it's all bar-seating. We will definitely be back!

My first time at the Montrose location after going to the Heights location. Everything was tasty and service was great. Noe and Mario took get care of my friend and me! We will definitely return

Loved this experience. The food was amazing. All the staff went above and beyond with their attention, warmth and personalities. Great experience overall. Highly recommend. All seating is bar stool style at along a sushi bar so you will be close and personal with your fellow diners.

What an absolutely fun and delicious restaurant! Our friend Ten helped us with our order, the food was delicious and almost appears instantly! Good sake and beer selection. The sashimi was fantastic and so fresh as well. We will definitely be returning! Highly recommend
