Located at Four Embarcadero Center, Harborview Restaurant & Bar serves quintessential Cantonese Cuisine and traditional yet innovative dim sum and banquet menus, with impeccable service in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere. With a main dining room seating more than 200, Harborview also features a full bar, patio, private dining and special event space.     Lovely ambiance!! I requested ,on Open Table a window view for a table of 10. We got that in a private room. This being a birthday lunch, the privacy was wonderful!!! The food was delicious and served immediately after we were seated! This because we were the first round. Our reservation was 11:00; we were asked if we could vacate the room by 12:30. That was fine since since we were served so quickly (yet courteously). Peking Duck with buns..superb! All other dim sum items outstanding and authentic. Suggestion: If you have a large party of 10 or more, go early!!! The restaurant was bustling with every table occupied by 11:00 that morning!

    Well, we were pleasantly surprised had never been here before and didn’t know what to expect on Christmas Day but the service was excellent.  it was fast and everything we ordered was delicious from the duck to the chicken to the Mushu and the desserts were fantastic. Can’t wait to go back!

    Got sat in side dining room right next to a service station at the bar, which was not a good place to sit. Waiter didn’t offer to change for clean plates until almost the end of the meal. Ask to be in the main dining room if at all possible.

    To be fair, we went to this restaurant on Christmas Day (reservations required!!). It was a bit of a madhouse. The restaurant did their very best to manage the crowd. Our server was very sweet and helpful (I’m gluten free). However, when we were seated at 2:20 pm we were told it was last call for the kitchen. Our reservation was for 2 pm. A bad start. Then the bar closed half way through our meal, so no more drinks. The dim sum was excellent but incredibly overpriced. Overall, nice place, nice hard working people, but vibe was hurried and hassled… just not worth the price.

    The timing of the food was off, we ordered the harborview beef at the same time as our other dishes, yet we never received it. We checked in on the status of the beef dish twice during the meal and at the last check in, when we had finished our food our server said it was still 10 minutes away from being done. Therefore, we had to cancel the dish from our order since we were already done with our meal.

    The host need more training for her job. If we book for 7 people and 6 of us already arrived, the host should let us sit at the table and start ordering. The host kept telling us we need all party to be seated.

    The confusion over which table to sit us was ridiculous, awkward and embarrassing. The food we ordered was okay but not great except for the Peking duck.

    This is the place I will not recommend. The waitress has no patience and push us to order. And she just cannot wait us to finish the food , like push us to leave, Omg, we just ate less than an hour. Food and service with its price is not equivalent. Overall experience is so terrible!
