Harris’ is the quintessential steak house experience. We offer dry-aged, mid-western beef, outstanding martinis, and an award winning wine list.
In our lounge we have live jazz nightly.

Although the lounge is available for more casual dining, we do have a dress code in the main dining room: please, no shorts, t-shirts or sportswear.

    Food was very good. Definitely a special occasion type of place, which it was. It reminded me of house of prime rib a lot but at a higher price tag. We were sat in a nice spacious booth. The service was good and attentive. The wait was not long after we ordered our food. We both had the wagyu rib eye and it was cooked to perfection. I’m not sure I could tell the difference between wagyu and what I’ve normally received when ordering rib eye. Either way, I still enjoyed every bite. The sides were delicious. I’m glad I went. It doesn’t feel like San Francisco in here so It’s a great place to take your older/ conservative relatives. If my dad were still alive I think he would’ve really enjoyed the experience. Not my vibe but I can certainly appreciate it for those whom it would be.

    We have been celebrating Xmas Eve and other special family occasions at Harris for more years than I can remember. We do do because the food, service and ambiance are uniformly excellent. It is my favorite restaurant in SF.

    Took my friend and her parents here for a Christmas Holiday Dinner after taking my other friend just a week before for his birthday dinner! :-D What can I say other than Harris is my absolute favorite steakhouse in San Francisco. Sure, there are other wildly fancy steakhouses in SF, but Harris is the clear winner when it comes to local appeal. I've been going literally for decades and it's always great to see familiar staff every time I'm there!

    Everything was perfect. Loved the food and atmosphere. Our table was unattended many times and haven’t had our drinks refilled too often, but it’s okay. It was a busy night. Would come again!
