Harris’ is the quintessential steak house experience. We offer dry-aged, mid-western beef, outstanding martinis, and an award winning wine list.
In our lounge we have live jazz nightly.

Although the lounge is available for more casual dining, we do have a dress code in the main dining room: please, no shorts, t-shirts or sportswear.

    We have been going to Harris' for decades and it has never disappointed. The wait staff and hosts are always great! The Manhattans and Old Fashioned are the best, along with the regular cut prime rib. You definitely will leave the restaurant full and satisfied! This is the ORIGINAL San Francisco Treat!

    Had a wonderful time with my wife who loved the executive cut of Prime Rib. I had the pepper New York steak with peppercorn sauce cooked medium rare. I was very disappointed with the pepper steak. It was cooked perfectly medium rare but it was very tough as though it was cooked extra well done. The soup of the day was cream of mushroom which was excellent. The desserts were apple bread pudding and baked Alaska and both were delicious. I still would recommend this restaurant because of the service and ambience but wouldn’t recommend the pepper steak. Next time I will order the prime rib.

    This is hands down the best classic steakhouse experience in San Francisco. The prime cuts are expertly prepared, the menu has all the greatest hits you would expect from appetizers to sides, and the ample wine list has interesting selections to fit every budget. The cocktails are terrific, the service is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I go a handful of times yearly with my family. We’ve made friendships with staff who always remember us and treat us like family.

    1960s menu and decor. We had Steak Diane and Baked Alaska. Pricey but worth it.

    Been to number of top steakhouses in the last year and my family group rates Harris as number 1. Very high praise indeed! The service was perfect. The food was perfectly delicious. The setting is elegant and peaceful. Perfect evening out. Osso is rated number 3 on our list but we’ll give it another try tomorrow night.

    Was my first time at Harris, I was very impressed, food was delicious, my fillet mignon was perfection , our server was phenomenal and the ambien was fantastic! I will definitely came back with friends and I will recommend it to all my friends !!!

    Food was reat. Service was excellent. The waiter was very professionaleas well as personable. Felt like we were in the hands of a real Pro.
